It was estimated that over one million people were in San Francisco yesterday, specifically to watch and cheer the 2012 World Series Champions, the San Francisco Giants. It was an all day parade and celebration with several speeches made near the Civic Center. Orange and black confetti blew throughout the city from various high rise buildings. Somehow in the planning, porta-potties were overlooked… meaning that there were none. Ooops. Bad mistake for a crowd this size. Otherwise, for most of the people who traveled into the city to celebrate, the Giants should probably run for office. In northern California, they’d likely win.
