Last Sunday, a loud boom was heard and the first crack appeared in the Twain Harte Lake Dam. Not knowing the immediate situation, the National Weather Service issued a Flood Warning for portions of Tuolumne County. It was cancelled a few hours later. The lake was completely drained.
