Rev. Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson?
MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer with this embarrasing gaffe:
President Obama Unites Left & Right
President Obama visited San Francisco on October 15th and did something that very few Presidents have ever been able to do; unite protesters from both the left and right! Every style of protest that you can imagine was on display in front of the St Francis hotel, where President Obama was addressing a $34,000 per couple Democratic Fundraiser. Several of the groups represented in their opposition to the President included war protesters, tax protesters, single payer advocates, health care reform opponents, 9/11 truth believers, immigration reformers, border control advocates, global warming alarmists, corporate bailout opponents, marijuana proponents, socialists and capitalists, all united on one beautiful memorable night, to shout about what the President is doing wrong:

Shriver “Caught” Talking On Cell?
California’s First Lady Maria Shriver was “caught” by the paparazzi earlier this week, talking on a cell phone while driving. It was her husband, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who signed a bill into law, making talking on a hand held cell phone illegal while driving. Schwarzenegger claimed back then, that studies proved talking on a cell while driving could lead to dangerous or even fatal car accidents. If Shriver is actually talking to someone on her hand held cell phone, then she must:
A) not be aware of this law and is actually guilty of being ignorant.
B) know the law but is wanting and willing to put the lives of other motorists at risk.
C) know the law but thinks it’s just another ridiculous “nanny state” law and believes that her Husband’s heavy handed style of government is much too invasive into a person’s personal freedom of choices.

Schwarzenegger Appears At Democrat Party Fundraiser
Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to make a surprise cameo at last Thursday’s Democratic Party Fundraiser in San Francisco. The reception was unpleasant. Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (Democrat) was perhaps the most angered and outspoken attendee. Ammiano was picked up on a microphone booing, yelling and swearing at the Governor. Ammanio’s language is explicit. Since becoming Governor of California, Schwarzenegger has been invited to numerous events here in the motherlode, but has never bothered to attend. Instead, he chooses to show up where he is most unwelcome.
Meg Whitman Loves Van Jones
Looking at the poll for who residents of the motherlode would prefer to see as the next Governor of California, it is becoming clear that locals seem to favor strong environmental leaning candidates. Republican Governor Schwarzenegger, who was the preferred candidate in the last two Governor races, is a self avowed “green revolutionist”. Now on Schwarzenegger’s heels is Republican candidate Meg Whitman (most favored in the KVML poll above). Whitman endorsed Senator Barbara Boxer (Democrat) in 2004, Steve Westley for Governor in 2006 (Democrat) and then registered herself as a Republican in 2007. Whitman recently went on a “climate change” cruise with former White House Green Czar Van Jones. She tells the San Francisco Chronicle that she “loves Van Jones” and is a “big fan” of his. Van Jones removed himself from the White House advisory position last month, after several controversial remarks were revealed. Perhaps with Van Jones roots in the bay area, Whitman will consider hiring Jones as part of her advising staff, should she become the next Governor of California. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI-RBNO2Q8M
Poizner Explains Donations To Gore
Republican Candidate for California Governor, Steve Poizner, answers a reporter’s question about two large donations in 2000 to Democratic Presidential candidate Al Gore. The first $10,000 check was written to support Gore during the Presidential race. The second $10,000 check was written to help Gore pay for the recount effort as the Presidential race against Republican candidate George W. Bush, was hanging on the outcome of Florida. Poizner says that he and his wife have a joint checking account and that his wife (who is a Democrat) is the one who wrote the checks. Poizner then tells the reporter that he has been answering this question for the past nine years. Is this an attack or a legitimate issue?
