MSNBC Panel Mocks African-American Baby

On MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry show, the host led a panel of entertainers in a rundown of the “photos of the year,” which somehow included a Romney family picture that “a lot of people had emotions about,” according to Harris-Perry. The panel immediately honed in on the race of Kieran Romney, adopted grandson of former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

“Everybody loves a baby picture,” Harris-Perry said, “and this was one that really, a lot of people had emotions about this baby picture this year. This is the Romney family. And, of course, there on Governor Romney’s knee is his adopted grandson, who is an African-American, adopted African-American child, Kieran Romney.”

As Harris-Perry asked for captions, panelist Pia Glenn sang “One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just isn’t the same”.

“And that little baby, front and center, would be the one,” she added.

We’re confused. A lot of people had emotions about this photo? Harris-Perry’s own emotions seem to lean towards being aghast. Would she ever mock a baby photo of Barack Obama with his loving white mother?

Salinas Valley Crop Circle

The bewildered talk throughout most of central California is in regards to this crop circle, which was created earlier this week in the Salinas Valley. Some residents claim to have seen a UFO with flashing green lights and then suddenly… this was discovered. Security guards have been called in to keep folks off of the field. Is it an alien message or man-made hoax? It’s intricate and precise, whatever it is.

What’s Clinging To The Dam Wall?

These are mountain goats, Alpine ibexes to be exact. They’re here at the Cingino Dam in northern Italy because this wall is rich with salt, a mineral they crave, so they’ve come to lick, while balancing with four feet on the most narrow and steep surface imaginable.

Speaker Boehner Lashes Out At Conservative Organizations

Republican House Speaker John Boehner must hate well-established conservative groups and organizations. He lashed out at them earlier today. This video shows GOP Congressman Paul Ryan (who crafted the so-called budget with Democrat Patty Murray) standing behind the Speaker. Clearly these two prominent Republicans, Boehner and Ryan, aren’t in the business of doing what’s best for the American economy. Both gentlemen are wanting to please Democrat President Obama and are led by his direction.

This shoutfest took place Wednesday December 11th, 2013 during the House Energy Subcommittee on Health. At the end of the video ask yourself, who really wins this type of battle?

John Kerry Dances Around The Obama-Castro Handshake

A distraught Cuban-American member of Congress confronts John Kerry about the President Obama, Raul Castro handshake. In response, Kerry dances around the answer in an almost beautiful display of “diplomatic speech”. Beautiful… if it wasn’t so obviously pathetic.

Mandela’s Love For Fidel Castro

President Obama shook the hand of Raul Castro at the Nelson Mandela Memorial in South Africa. Perhaps it was because Obama knew how much love Mandela had for Raul’s brother, Fidel Castro. According to Mandela, Castro helped “train our people and helped us with our struggle” to end apartheid.

Stanislaus River Before Melones Dam

This footage from 1975 captures life along the Stanislaus River before New Melones Reservior. This film was made as an effort to keep the Melones Dam from being built. Right or wrong, the Dam did flood the River’s whitewater runs, limestone caves, Indian relics and Gold Rush history.
